Welcome Visitors!

I am so honored to have you spend some time with me and my creative space.  I blog 5-6 times a week on my own creative process of art making, offer new sources of unique inspiration, DIYs, and ideas to spark your imagination in your own work, and explore the playful world of creating through a child's eyes.  I love color, texture, and bold lines in artwork and try to convey that spirit through my blog as best as I can.  I also from time to time showcase new artworks and projects that I have created and will often feature sales and exclusive promotions for my Etsy Shop, where I sell all my creations.

Please follow my artistic journey by adding me to your daily reads, post one of my buttons on your blog, and I would love to connect with you further through comments on my posts or click on the Contact Tab to follow me on FB, Twitter, Flickr, or Pinterest.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll find a reason to come again.  Before you go, please take a few moments and check out some of my most popular Post Series that I regularly update.  Click on the banners to see some of the posts from the past.

Art Journaling has been a practice of mine for years.  It helps me get all those pesky thoughts and fears about not being good enough as an artist to just let go without expectations and pour out my passions, experiences, ups and downs in a creative medium that goes way beyond plain white paper and writing words with a simple black pen.  If you Art Journal or just love to peek into the pages of other's journals, I share new pages with you weekly with stories and sometimes tips on techniques along the way.

Who doesnt love DIYs!  Join me as I offer fun new projects that help us live a more creative life and decorate our world with beauty.

Take some time to play on your Saturday Morning with 2 new coloring pages for you to freely go outside the lines.  Take a walk in some nostalgia from your childhood.  You may have forgotten how incredibly therapeutic the simple act of coloring can be.

I love to explore new color combinations for upcoming artworks!  I experiment with patterns and colors in my sketchbook each week and create a unique color palette for you to try.  You just might be surprised at the combinations that sound strange but just work together beautifully.  Come get inspired!

This is a special weekly post, very close to my heart.  As a mother and an artist, I want to help my son explore his artistic side, but at the same time I have discovered a renewed playfulness and joy that he brings to creating, something that growing into an adult tends to take away from us.  So if you are looking to renew the child within you or connect with a special child in your life, use our projects and videos to spark some messy fun creative play of your own.
XO, HARMONY
